eExtremists..... a new perspective

eExtremists ....Going beyond necessary?

OK so I'm sure at one time or another we have all had an intolerance or expressed our concerns towards a certain group or topic that has really gotten our attention for a certain reason and want to have our say about it. But where do we draw the line where what we say and do goes too far? Is it OK for us to express our views even though the majority of the population doesn't agree with us or what we are proposing is way out from the modern views of people today? or is it just another way of us expressing our freedom of speech in any way we want to? well yes and no I guess.

Sure we all want to have the freedom to say what we want and demonstrate our views but sometimes people seem to go a bit far. And by far I mean organising rallies and protests and damaging property and recruiting people to help demonstrate their point and create an online "hate" community just to show their point and become angry and almost violent (mostly verbally and through the Internet but sometimes physically) towards anyone that may disagree with them or is the centre of the intolerance/group concerned. Many of these groups are racially based against others such as the Hammerskin Nation, Racial Purity groups, anti government groups, anti gay/lesbian/bisexual groups and the lists go on and on. Basically if you can think of a topic that may start an argument with people and divide them, then there's a good chance that there is a group of extremists out there already trying to make it bigger and more "extreme".

So one of the many groups that are out there are right wing extremists. These people rarely get mentioned compared to all the different extremists and eExtremists out there but are responsible for planting the ideas of  certain intolerance's and why people should be against certain people or topics in society. These types of groups are easily made and can get to many people with only a click of a button - whether that be on the Internet or through other media sources such as radio where people express their views and gain recognition and supporters through this source. But are what they doing taking it to far sometimes.

Well yes I'm sure sometimes it does go a little to far and in other cases not. If it wasn't for extremists, then some of the issues that have occurred overseas would still be going. If not for some of these groups, we wouldn't know what is actually happening and actually be able to change some of these things. Sometimes what eExtremists are actually protesting about and being so passionate about is actually important. But other times its not. In our modern world, not all extremist issues are relevant as they have been in the past. Many people may still think that issues such as race and religion are still very important. But are they as important as some of the other issues that are taking over now??
